Trying to understand the 3dcg World, my question:
Are your works here available as "digital puppets" to use in 3d scenes, like making out a 3d comic page, or are there restrictions that prevent such as technical incompatibility??
What would be those "incompatibilities"?

I would like to learn how to properly model in max, our teacher taught us splines, if that is your method then it would be interesting because splines are too complicated for me to create such complex models, I usually encounter problems on the surface doing weird shades and stuff. As for box modeling our teacher hates it and we never learned such way of modeling yet as a class. :/

I see, so any suggestions on how to get the hang on it? I usually get stuck on the box into character part, and on the texturing part of course, well I am not a professional but a student so any suggestions of tutorial series or something would be helpful.

Thanks

you should try zbrush for characters. easier to work on anatomy etc. box modelling is good for hard surface and making base meshes.
